Environmental Management Policy

Fairbanks Morse Engine is committed to operating our business in a responsible manner to protect the environment. It is our policy to prevent pollution, reduce unnecessary waste, and safeguard the environment in the communities where we operate our business.

We will attain a high standard of an environmental management system by adhering to these principles:

  • Implement programs and procedures to comply with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations. Our employees will be given appropriate training in regard to their roles and responsibilities as part of our environmental compliance programs.
  • Implement and maintain management systems and procedures designed to eliminate or minimize risk factors associated with our business that would pose a hazard to the environment. We will implement policies, procedures, and technology to be prepared for prompt response to a hazardous emergency.
  • Review our goals, objectives, and performance periodically and strive for continual improvement as a company.
