They offer excellent fuel rates and low emission levels, and they are equipped with electro-hydraulic gas valves that are adjustable for optimal performance without complex mechanical linkages.
The gas volume is controlled by electronically varying the valve opening duration, providing fast and efficient engine response to sudden load changes. A damping mechanism controls valve seating velocity, improving valve reliability. Proper air-fuel ratios are achieved through an automatic air by-pass system. This system results in efficient operation at varying load settings and ambient conditions while reducing exhaust emissions to optimum levels.
PC2.5 series engine generating sets are ideally suited for modular engine power generation applications. Pre-packaged engine support systems provide each module with fuel oil, lube oil, cooling water, and starting air.
