Field service engineers perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of diesel and dual fuel engines at customer sites. Positions require significant travel including frequent weekends.
A minimum of two years experience in the mechanical or electrical repair of diesel engines or an associate degree/technical school diploma is required.
The successful applicant must have the ability to work independently with good decision-making skills and possess effective oral/written communications and customer service skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen able to qualify for security clearance and may be subject to random drug/alcohol screening and/or psychological assessment as required by individual customers in the nuclear, government, or transportation industries.
Successful candidates will be subject to a physical exam, drug screen, and background check which includes criminal background, driving record, and credit check (in order to quality for company credit card required for travel expenses).
