Field Service Engineer (Norfolk) |

The field service engineer will perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installation of diesel and dual fuel engines at customer sites. The position requires significant travel including frequent weekends and required overtime.
A minimum of three years experience in the repair of large diesel engines is required. An associate degree, technical school diploma, or military training is preferred. Experience in the repair of Colt-Pielstick 2.5 engines is high desirable.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently with good decision-making skills and possess effective oral/written communications and customer service skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is highly preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen able to qualify for security clearance and may be subject to random drug/alcohol screening and/or psychological assessment and background checks as required by individual customers in the nuclear, government, or transportation industries. |
