• Provide application end user support, including error checking, configuration changes, user instruction
• Design and/or configure applications to meet business requirements as defined by user requests, Business Process Manager or IT Director
• Control and monitor changes by ensuring all required approvals are in place before proceeding with implementation of all system changes
• Perform testing of all proposed system changes to verify impact of change
• Translate user requests into technical requirements and make recommendations based upon system capabilities
• Create reports for various business systems to match user information requirements, this includes migrating reports from MS Excel to Oracle Discoverer or XML/BI Publisher and evaluating and expanding utilization of the Oracle Daily Business Intelligence architecture within Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2. Also evaluating data provided in current reports compared to new reports available within the Oracle Daily Business Intelligence module
• Oracle Discoverer administration
• Scripting data extracts and cleanup from legacy Oracle 10.7 application
• Perform basic Oracle database administration duties to complement DBA
• Registering Custom Applications within Oracle Applications
• Assist DBA with Custom PL/SQL Library performance tuning
Qualifications and Technical Requirements
• Experience using data analysis tools and advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
• Technical skills required:
-Oracle Applications - Functional Knowledge a plus
-AIM methodology
-SQL
-PL/SQL
-XML
-Java - JDeveloper
-VB
-Oracle Forms
-Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, BI Publisher
-Oracle Discoverer
-Oracle Workflow Builder
-Basic DBA & Unix Skills
-Oracle R12 upgrade experience a plus
