This course is one week in length. Approximately 60% of the student's time is spent performing hands-on training with various engine components. The engine lab is equipped with connecting rods, cylinder heads, pistons, injection nozzles, fuel pumps, main and con rod bearings, as well as an ABB turbocharger. The other 40% of the student's time is spent in the classroom covering the technical manual, viewing maintenance videos, and/or discussing components parts and sub-assemblies. |
