One week in length. Approximately 70% of the student's time is spent performing hands-on training with various engine components. The engine lab is equipped with connecting rods, cylinder heads, pistons, injection nozzle, fuel pump, main and con rod bearings, housed in a 8-cylinder training engine block. The other 30% of the student's time is spent in the classroom covering the technical manual, viewing maintenance videos, and/or discussing components parts and sub-assemblies. |
