This course starts on Monday morning at 8 AM. It covers the theory of operation of a diesel engine, two and four stroke cycle. Also the history of the OP engine, Operation of the OP and it's systems, how the engine is manufactured, the component parts, and numerous assembly and disassembly techniques.
We remove the upper crankshaft, some upper and lower pistons, Camshaft, blower and injection equipment. Much time is spent on inspections and adjustment of timing.
About 75% of the time is Hands-on training. |
